Die casting is a process of manufacturing the metal parts which are difficult to give a design following geometrical rules. The process consists of metal, die, furnace and die casting machine. A non ferrous metal like zinc or aluminum is heated to the melting point in the furnace and then melted metal injected into the die casting machine . There are mainly two types of die casting machine – Hot chamber machine for materials with low melting temperature like tin and zinc.Cold chamber machine for materials with high melting temperature such as aluminum. Well, both the machines are capable of delivering the final product quickly as it cools down the material and solidifies it quickly, this process is called casting.
